The Library is situated at the heart of the school. It is a bright stimulating room with comfy animal cushions and soft blue chairs. The children like the quiet atmosphere and all the interesting books.

It is a non-fiction library, with new books being added every year. The books are colour coded according to subject. To find a book the children use the subject index to find the Dewey number. Each class has a half-hour library skills lesson once a week.

The younger children like to listen to stories and the older children are able to find books for their own research.

Sian, a pupil at school says, “It is quiet and I really like going in there because it is exciting to read all the goods books”.
