Our Foundation Stage Unit is for children from the ages of three to five years. We offer four very large, bright airy rooms that are welcoming, comfortable and well resourced. There are also two large canopied areas which enable the children to go outside in all weathers. Our extensive outdoor area includes a woodland trail. Other than during direct teaching sessions our children are able to freely use the four indoor classrooms and the outdoor space.

All aspects of the Foundation Stage Curriculum are represented in all areas of the unit. During free play sessions the children have the opportunity to choose for themselves where they will play, with whom and in which way. Free play is well supported by small and large group activities and regular one to one work.
