Lancot is beautifully situated at the foot of the Dunstable Downs with extensive grounds adjoining Lancot Meadow, a nature reserve managed by the Wildlife Trust.

We have a very large playing field and playground area, a tyre trail, wooden play equipment and two shaded areas. There is a large wildlife pond set within a wildflower meadow and a number of mature planted areas, to which the children have regular, supervised access. Many established trees and shrubs provide shelter and natural habitats for various wildlife and birds.

In the local area there are colonies of badgers, foxes and rabbits, as well as frogs and newts. All classes make good use of the wonderful surroundings and we also have a weekly Wildlife Club.

Laurel Class have set up an Allotment, they are growing potatoes, carrots and peas. Lancot has raised (from eggs) and cared for 10 chickens in a coop
