We would like all the children at Lancot to wear our distinctive and practical uniform. Parents are asked to support us by ensuring their children come to school appropriately and sensibly dressed.
Our dominant colours are grey and gold.
Suggested garments are:
Grey shorts or trousers or grey skirts or pinafore dresses. Plain gold polo shirts or blouses can be worn with grey jumpers or cardigans. In Summer, gold polo shirts and light dresses in small gold/yellow check can be worn. Shoes must be suitable for a school environment — no high heels please.
We do not expect the children to wear nail polish or flip flops.
FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS, EARRINGS OF ANY DESCRIPTION ARE NOT ALLOWED.
It is advisable for the children to wear sun hats in the summer.
Navy shorts, white T-shirts and black plimsolls are needed for PE and swimming costumes, swimming hats and poolside shoes are needed for the second half of the Summer term (please note that swimming goggles are not permitted).
Foundation Stage children will need wellies for walking around the grounds.
We also have personalised reversible fleece lined jackets, P.E. bags and book bags with the school logo. The school has its own uniform shop online at www.yourschooluniform.com. Items personalised with the school logo may be purchased from here. If you do not have access to a computer please contact the school office.
